Senior Care Assistant — Nights

Chelmsford, Essex Full time £13.20–£14.10 per hour

Residential home in Chelmsford needs an experienced night carer for a 36-hour rota, three nights on and three off.

The role

We are recruiting a Senior Care Assistant for a well-run 48-bed residential home in Chelmsford. You will lead a small team of carers through the night shift, administer medication, complete care plans and act as the senior person on site.

The home is rated Good by the CQC and has a settled staff team — this role is a replacement for a carer who has moved into a nursing degree, not a sign of trouble.

Shifts run 20:00 to 08:00 with a rolling three-on, three-off pattern, so you always know your month ahead of time.

What we are looking for

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
At least one year of paid care experience in a UK care setting
Confident administering medication and completing care records
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS — we pay for the check
